About Me
I have been a self-employed consulting agronomist since 1981, providing agronomic consulting services to farmers, businesses, and organizations throughout Montana and Wyoming. Over the years, I have worked with more than 25 different field crops, as well as lawn and garden issues. I enjoy helping clients find practical, science-based solutions to their soil, crop, and agronomic challenges.
Experience
Since starting my consulting business in 1981, I have provided agronomic consulting services across a wide range of crops and production systems. My team and I have consulted on more than 25 different field crops, along with lawn and garden issues.
In addition to consulting, I have provided expert witness services and performed contract research. Since 1981, I have made all fertilizer and soil amendment recommendations for soil tests performed at Energy Laboratories locations throughout Montana and Wyoming.
I am a Certified Professional Agronomist (CPAg) and Certified Crop Advisor (CCA), both professional designations of the American Society of Agronomy.
Education
I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy from Colorado State University.

Personal Interests
Outside of work, my wife, Rae, and I enjoy attending Montana State University Bobcat football games in the fall. We are also active members of our church, Sts. Cyril & Methodius.
Our favorite and busiest activity is raising our 9-year-old son, Tanner. We have had Tanner in our lives since he was two months old. He started out as our grandson, and we adopted him three years ago. He brings great joy to our lives.
